Role Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced designer to join our team at Summer Health as the founding designer. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design the experience for caregivers (parents) and providers. You will work closely with the co-founders, product and engineering to create a seamless user experience that simplifies access to healthcare for caregivers.

What you’ll do

• Develop and lead the design of Summer Health's visual identity, branding, and user experience.
• Collaborate with a cross functional team including product, engineers, operations and clinical to reimagine how to radically simplify access to care and empower providers with superpowers.
• Conduct user research to identify opportunities and usability testing to help inform our design decisions.
• Create and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and channels.

• 5+ years of experience as a designer, with a focus on digital product design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process, including examples of designing for complex systems.
• A deep understanding of design thinking, user-centered design, and design systems.
